Terms and conditions

1.1 The reservation for La Capucine will be made only by the reservation form.

1.2 A reservation request is accepted when it is confirmed by La Capucine by sending an invoice.

1.3 Within a maximum of 2 weeks after receipt of the confirmation and the invoice, you we will pay 40% of the rental. The remaining amount due for the rental must be paid to us at later than 8 weeks before the departure date your rental.

1.4 In the event of last minute reservations, 8 weeks or less before the start of the period rental, you will pay the full rental amount at once, within 2 maximum weeks after receipt of confirmation and invoice and in any case before rental date.

1.5 In the event of late payment, La Capucine reserves the right to cancel your reservation for the gîte. The cancellation conditions will remain unchanged.

1.6 The security deposit is € 200 per gîte. This must be paid to us at the same time as your last payment and will be returned to you by bank transfer, at the latest 15 days after your departure, minus any costs caused by breakage or damage to property or additional cleaning fee.

1.7 The French authority invoices tourist taxes per person for anyone aged 18 and over per day. This tax is included in the total price.

2.1 Any cancellation must be notified in writing or by e-mail to La Capucine.

2.2 Cancellation between 8 weeks and more before the start of the stay: You are billed 40% of the amount of the stay.

2.3 Cancellation between 8 and 4 weeks before the start of the stay: You are billed 60% of the amount of stay.

2.4 Cancellation less than 4 weeks before the start of the stay: You will be billed the full price of the stay.

2.5 The deposits already paid, will be deducted and / or refunded, in accordance with the provisions cancellation fees and billing.

2.6 Accommodation costs will remain due for the entire period of your reservation, including if you arrive later or leave earlier.

2.7 We advise you to take out “trip cancellation” insurance.

3.1 In the event that La Capucine is forced to cancel your lodging already booked by you, we will inform you of this immediately and if possible, we will make you another proposal. In case of refusal of this proposal by the tenant, or if La Capucine is unable to provide you make another offer, La Capucine will immediately transfer the sum already advanced by the tenant. The tenant will have no other right than to claim the amount already paid.

4.1 During your stay in the gîte, you will have full responsibility as a tenant of the holiday house rented, the rented place as well as rented goods and that you or your companions could to damage. Any damage caused must be paid for in full and immediately.

4.2 La Capucine reserves the right to make the tenant responsible in advance in case of damage is not, or not enough, is declared and paid. All associated costs are the sole responsibility of the tenant.

4.3 In case of bad behaviour of the tenant or if it causes a real nuisance for his entourage, access to La Capucine could be refused. Therefore, the rental contract will be legally considered dissolved and no claim can be made for any refund whatever.

4.4 In the gîte is an information sheet with rules and directives concerning the house and equipment inside and out. The tenant must notify this after arrival. These regulations and instructions are inextricably part of the rental agreement and must therefore be scrupulously respected.

5.1 Your stay at La Capucine and the use of our facilities will be under your sole responsibility.

5.2 La Capucine cannot be held liable for loss, theft, damage or injury of any origin whatsoever, caused to or by tenants of La Capucine, nor in the event of discomfort caused by changes in situations.

5.3 Any errors or omissions in the description or price of accommodation offered by La Capucine, do not bind us.

5.4 Dutch law applies to all our booking conditions and agreements made later.

6.1 The rental is in principle from Saturday to Saturday. In low season or to your request, this can be changed. On the first day of your rental, you will be able to access your accommodation between from 16.00 h. On the day of your departure, you must vacate the accommodation at the latest at 11:00 a.m.

6.2 Sheets, kitchen towels and tea towels, bath towels and fees administration and cleaning costs are included in the rental price.

6.3 You must respect the maximum number of 4 people.

6.4 It is absolutely not allowed to rent the house to a third party.

6.5 The holiday house La Capucine is located in a "lieu-dit" that you will share with the inhabitants. Privacy and tranquillity of others must be respected, as well as their property as well as goods of La Capucine.

6.6 Smoking is not permitted in the gîte.

6.7 We do not allow pets.
